Selection and Design of Cable Tray

To begin the process of determining the appropriate environmental conditions, it is essential to classify the environment as either corrosive, normal, or special. This classification will provide a better understanding of what type of conditions the product will be exposed to and how to proceed forward with the design. By identifying the specific environmental conditions, you can ensure that the product will operate effectively and safely in its intended environment.

When navigating indoors, it is best to follow the direction of the cables and travel along the columns, beams, and floors. Outdoors, it is recommended to travel along the process pipes as much as possible. Following this guidance will help you travel through buildings and outdoor spaces efficiently and with ease.

To determine the load capacity of a cable tray, it is necessary to calculate the weight per unit length of the cable and the total load it carries. This can be done by first calculating the weight per unit length of the cable, represented as 'q'. Then, the total load 'G' of the cable can be determined. With these values, the maximum load capacity of the cable tray can be established. It is essential to perform these calculations accurately to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of the cable tray system.

The formula to calculate the total weight of cables, denoted as G total, is given by:

G total = n1q1 + n2q2 + … + nnqn

Here, q1·q2·q3 … qn represents the unit weight of each cable in kilograms per meter.

n1·n2·n3……nn is the same number of cables

Ensure that G total is lower than the allowable load specified in the load curve chart for the cable rack.

To choose the right bridge, it is important to consider both the cable load and the surrounding environment where it will be installed. Additionally, analyzing the bridge's load curve is necessary to determine its type, specification, column spacing, arm length, bridge level, and column length. It is crucial to select the appropriate parameters to ensure the bridge's safety and longevity.

The fixing method of the bridge frame should be determined by considering the direction of the cable and the installation environment. There are various fixing methods available such as suspension type, vertical type, wall-side type, etc. Both suspension and vertical types can be fixed on one or both sides of the bridge. It is important to carefully analyze the installation environment and cable direction in order to determine the most suitable fixing method.

The layer arrangement and interlayer distance of cables on the cable tray should be carefully considered. It is crucial to arrange the cables in the correct order to avoid any interference between them and ensure that they fit properly on the tray. The interlayer distance should also be taken into account to maintain the appropriate spacing between each layer of cables. This will help to prevent any electrical or signal interference and allow for effective cable management.

The optimal arrangement for cable tray levels involves placing the weak current control cable on the top layer, followed by the general control cable, low-voltage power cable, and lastly, the high-voltage power cable. This sequential order ensures proper ventilation and heat dissipation, leading to effective shielding interference. This approach promises an organized and efficient system, avoiding interruption in the wire and cable management process.
